Before entering the financial services industry, John worked as a developer assistant for UMA, an options trading platform built on the Ethereum blockchain, in 2021-2022. This experience gave him deep insight into decentralized finance, cryptocurrency markets, and the technological innovations shaping the future of finance. He continues to research and stay current on developments in the crypto space, allowing him to help clients navigate this evolving landscape with informed guidance.
John earned his Associate of Arts degree in Business Finance from Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida, where he built a strong foundation in financial principles and analysis. He became licensed for insurance and annuities in 2023 and advanced his credentials by obtaining his investment advisor license in 2025, enabling him to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment management services.
Outside the office, John enjoys cooking, playing guitar and harmonica, and spending time with his growing family. He and his college sweetheart have been married for three years and are welcomed their second child in March 2025.
